about us

El Nido looks like it’s been plucked off a Hollywood movie poster and planted in front of your eyes. On any day, it looks just as breathtakingly beautiful. One lush green hill merges into the other in the horizon, while the varying hues of the sky and water entice one to keep searching for visual treats. If you’re lucky, you could witness what could be the most alluring sunset of your life – and you could see it while you zipline from one island to another!

Zip lining is a favourite among most tourists. You might have zip lined before but have you considered El Nido island hopping through the zip? The activity is safe, and promises a visual spectacle that’s sure to make your heart skip a few beats.

The 750 meter long line gives you a full-fledged view of the tiny settlements by the beach below you, the coconut fringed shoreline, and the islands in the distance, all appearing in a clearer hue as you zipped closer!

A number of different options beckon one to try ziplining- there’s the superman position, which makes you feel like you’re a bird soaring above the Las Cabanas beach. One way on the Superman position is likely to cost you around 700 PHP, but if you choose to return the same way, you would be shelling around 1100 PHP both ways.

You may choose to go in a seated position- minus a comfy chair, of course! This one is slightly less expensive- one way would cost you about 500 PHP, while returning the same way would require you to dish 900 PHP. If you aren’t entirely sure of what you’d prefer, you could obviously ask for a combination of both positions for 1000 PHP!

The ziplining team at El Nido is meticulous in it’s approach and follows safety standards to the T. However, there are some basics you could follow through with, so you have a hassle free time zip-hopping through the Philippines!

1. If you aren’t sure where to find the zip lining base, ask locals around for the Marimegmeg Beach. Most locals are very well aware and would be able to guide you suitably to the beach.

2. Las Cabanas El Nido Zip lining begins at 9 in the morning and closes at 5:30. Although any time is a great time to be zip lining, try going for an evening trip from 4 to 5 if you want a bird’s eye view of the setting sun.

3. Zip lining one way might sound fancy enough, but you will have to walk back to get your scooty from the starting point, which translates to an hour of uphill hiking!

4. Wear comfortable clothes that allow your skin to breathe and are not restricting in any way. Avoid wearing dresses and skirts, and opt for sturdy shoes. While the zip lining team will ensure you aren’t wearing slippers as they hook you to the line, it would be easier if you’d dress aptly to avoid any hassles.
